Yes, I’ve been busy photographing. A while back I purchased a Nikon Coolpix P5000 for about $350 and boy was I glad. This camera is excellent for its size and for the money. It has ISO speeds 64 to 3200 and it has lots of features that make it easy to photograph damn near anything. Definitely a worthwhile buy. For reference, here’s a picture of a Nikon CoolPix.

Anyways, Since my trip to BC or Vancouver Island more specifically, I’ve really developed a taste for photography and I decided to buy myself a digital SLR camera. The one I chose was a Nikon D40X. While I like this camera, it is missing the auto-bracket function and it will only auto-focus with specific lenses with motors in them. Otherwise I think it takes good pictures. Heres a picture of the camera in question.

Also, just as a note. I’ve shutdown use of the forums. There was a spammer that was posting and nobody posts in my forum anyways.
